The Rev. David V. Miller has served as pastor of Lutheran Church of the Ascension and chaplain of Open Arms Lutheran Child Development Center in Buckhead since October 13, 2013. He previously served as Associate Pastor at Trinity Lutheran Church and School in Cedar Rapids, Iowa for three years. In preparation for the Holy Ministry, he attended Concordia University in River Forest, Illinois and completed the pre-seminary program. There he also received a Bachelor of Arts degree with a major in Theology and a minor in the Visual Arts. Rev. Miller then went on to graduate studies at Concordia Theological Seminary in Fort Wayne, Indiana, where he earned a Master of Divinity degree prior to his ordination in 2010. In his free time, Rev. Miller enjoys spending time around Atlanta with his wife, Jeni, and four children, Eden, Jude, Titus, and Matthias.
